BizCrush ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and how we handle data obtained through third-party sign-in providers including Google and Apple.
1. Overview
BizCrush helps users manage conversations, follow-ups, and scheduling workflows. In order to provide these features, we may collect account information, app usage information, and limited third-party account data when a user chooses to sign in or connect external services.
2. Information We Collect
a. Account and Sign-In Information
When you create an account or sign in to BizCrush, we may collect certain account information depending on the sign-in method you choose.
If you sign in with Google, we may collect:
your name
your email address
your Google account profile information, such as profile image
If you sign in with Apple, we may collect:
your name, if provided by Apple during sign-in
your email address, including an Apple private relay email address if you choose to hide your email
We only collect this information from the sign-in provider you choose to use.
b. Google Calendar Data
With your explicit consent, BizCrush may access your Google Calendar event data through the following scope:
This scope allows BizCrush to read calendar events only. BizCrush does not use this scope to create, edit, or delete calendar events.
c. App Usage and Device Information
We may collect limited technical and usage information necessary to operate and secure the service, such as:
log data
device or browser type
IP address
timestamps
app activity related to service performance, security, and debugging
3. How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
create and manage your BizCrush account
authenticate users and maintain account access
provide the features and services requested by the user
operate, maintain, secure, and improve BizCrush
communicate with users about the service
comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
4. How We Use Google Calendar Data
BizCrush uses Google Calendar event data only for the following user-facing purposes:
to display a user’s existing calendar events inside BizCrush when the user is scheduling a meeting or follow-up,
to help the user avoid scheduling conflicts with existing calendar events,
to suggest available meeting times based on the user’s existing calendar schedule.
BizCrush does not use Google Calendar data for:
advertising,
sale to third parties,
building unrelated marketing profiles,
or training generalized AI or machine learning models without the user’s explicit consent.
5. Google API Services Disclosure
BizCrush's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
In particular:
• we only access Google user data after obtaining the user’s explicit consent,
• we only use Google user data to provide or improve user-facing features requested by the user,
• we do not sell Google user data,
• we do not use Google user data for advertising purposes,
• and we do not allow humans to read Google user data except:
with the user’s affirmative agreement for specific data,
when necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse,
when required by applicable law,
or for limited internal operations permitted by Google’s policies.
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information or Google user data.
We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:
with service providers that help us operate BizCrush, such as hosting, storage, analytics, logging, customer support, and security vendors, and only as necessary to provide the service,
if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request,
or when necessary to protect the rights, safety, and security of BizCrush, our users, or others.
Any service provider handling such data is required to protect it and process it only for authorized purposes.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain personal information and connected service data only for as long as necessary to provide the requested functionality, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
If you disconnect Google Calendar access or delete your BizCrush account:
we will stop accessing your Google Calendar data, and
we will delete associated Google Calendar data from our systems within 30 days unless a longer retention period is required by law.
You may also revoke BizCrush’s access at any time through your Google Account settings or Apple account settings, as applicable.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information and connected account data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and measures designed to reduce unauthorized access.
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Choices
You may:
choose not to connect Google Calendar,
choose whether to sign in with Google, Apple, or another available method,
revoke connected account access at any time through your provider settings,
or request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
10. Children’s Privacy
BizCrush is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date above and post the revised version on this page.
