BizCrush Inc. ("BizCrush," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, how we retain and delete it, and how we handle data obtained through third-party sign-in providers and connected services, including Google and Apple.
BizCrush helps users manage conversations, meetings, follow-ups, and related productivity workflows. To provide these features, we may collect account information, app usage information, meeting-related information, and limited third-party account data when a user chooses to sign in, connect an external service, or enable a related feature.
We only access third-party account data, including Google Calendar data, after the user grants permission.
1. Information We Collect
a. Account and Sign-In Information
When you create an account or sign in to BizCrush, we may collect account information depending on the sign-in method you choose.
If you sign in with Google, we may collect:
your name;
your email address;
your Google account profile information, such as your profile image.
If you sign in with Apple, we may collect:
your name, if provided by Apple during sign-in;
your email address, including an Apple private relay email address if you choose to hide your email.
If you sign in with a phone number, we may collect:
your phone number;
verification-related information necessary to authenticate your account.
We only collect information from the sign-in provider or authentication method you choose to use.
b. Google Calendar Data and Meeting Bot Feature
With your explicit consent, BizCrush may access your Google Calendar event data through the following Google API scope:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events.readonly
This scope allows BizCrush to read calendar events only. BizCrush does not use this scope to create, edit, delete, or modify calendar events.
When you enable Google Calendar integration or the meeting bot feature, BizCrush may read calendar event information such as:
event title;
start and end time;
attendees and organizer information;
event location;
event description;
calendar event status;
conference link information, including Google Meet links and other meeting URLs included in the event.
BizCrush uses this information only to identify meetings selected or enabled by the user and to allow the BizCrush meeting bot to join eligible meetings at the scheduled time.
c. Meeting Bot Data
When you enable, invite, or use the BizCrush meeting bot for a meeting, BizCrush may process meeting-related information necessary to provide the requested meeting features, such as:
meeting title;
meeting time;
meeting URL;
meeting participants, where available;
meeting audio;
captions or transcripts, where available;
meeting summaries, notes, action items, and follow-up items generated for the user;
related user-facing meeting records.
BizCrush processes meeting bot data only to provide user-facing meeting features requested by the user, such as transcription, summarization, meeting notes, action items, and follow-up workflows.
Meeting audio files are temporary source files used to provide meeting-related features. Transcripts, summaries, notes, action items, follow-up items, and related user-facing meeting records may be retained so that users can view, search, manage, and reuse their meeting records within BizCrush.
Users are responsible for ensuring that they have the rights, permissions, and consents required to invite or enable the BizCrush meeting bot in a meeting, including any required notice to meeting participants.
d. App Usage, Device, and Technical Information
We may collect limited technical and usage information necessary to operate, secure, debug, and improve BizCrush, such as:
log data;
device or browser type;
operating system and app version;
IP address;
timestamps;
device identifiers or push notification tokens, where needed to provide app functionality;
crash, diagnostic, performance, and reliability information;
app activity related to service performance, security, debugging, abuse prevention, and reliability.
e. Communications and Support Information
If you contact us for support, feedback, sales, or other inquiries, we may collect:
your name and contact information;
the content of your message;
information necessary to respond to your request;
diagnostic or account-related information you choose to provide.
2. How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
create and manage your BizCrush account;
authenticate users and maintain account access;
provide the features and services requested by the user;
connect third-party services when authorized by the user;
identify eligible meetings and operate the meeting bot feature;
provide meeting assistance, transcription, summaries, notes, action items, and follow-up workflows;
send push notifications, service messages, and account-related communications;
operate, maintain, secure, debug, and improve BizCrush;
monitor service performance, reliability, and abuse prevention;
provide customer support;
comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3. How We Use Google Calendar Data
BizCrush uses Google Calendar event data only for the following user-facing purposes:
to identify upcoming calendar events that may be eligible for the meeting bot feature;
to detect meeting links included in calendar events, such as Google Meet links or other meeting URLs;
to allow the user to enable, manage, or disable the BizCrush meeting bot for selected meetings;
to allow the BizCrush meeting bot to join eligible meetings at the scheduled time;
to provide meeting-related features requested by the user, such as transcription, summaries, notes, action items, and follow-up workflows, where available.
BizCrush does not use Google Calendar data to:
create, edit, delete, or modify calendar events;
send calendar invitations;
access calendar events for unrelated advertising or marketing purposes;
sell Google Calendar data to third parties;
build unrelated marketing profiles;
determine creditworthiness or lending eligibility;
train generalized AI or machine learning models.
BizCrush only accesses Google Calendar data after the user grants permission. Users may revoke access at any time through their Google Account settings or within BizCrush, where available.
4. Google API Services Disclosure
BizCrush's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
In particular:
BizCrush only accesses Google user data after obtaining the user's explicit consent.
BizCrush only uses Google user data to provide or improve user-facing features that are visible in BizCrush, including the meeting bot and related meeting workflow features.
BizCrush does not sell Google user data.
BizCrush does not use Google user data for advertising, retargeting, personalized advertising, or interest-based advertising.
BizCrush does not use Google user data to determine creditworthiness or lending eligibility.
BizCrush does not use Google user data to train generalized AI or machine learning models.
BizCrush does not allow humans to read Google user data except:
with the user's explicit consent for specific data;
when necessary for security purposes, such as investigating abuse, bugs, security incidents, or service reliability issues;
when required to comply with applicable law;
or for limited internal operations permitted by Google's policies.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information or Google user data.
We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:
with service providers that help us operate, secure, host, store, monitor, debug, and improve BizCrush;
with third-party services that the user chooses to connect or use through BizCrush;
with meeting infrastructure, transcription, AI processing, analytics, logging, security, customer support, and communication vendors, only as necessary to provide the requested service;
if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request;
when necessary to protect the rights, safety, and security of BizCrush, our users, or others;
with the user's explicit consent.
Any service provider handling such data is required to protect it and process it only for authorized purposes.
6. Service Providers and Infrastructure
We use third-party service providers to host, store, process, secure, and operate BizCrush. These providers may process personal information, connected service data, Google Calendar data, meeting bot-related data, logs, and technical information only as necessary to provide services to BizCrush and subject to contractual confidentiality, security, and data protection obligations.
These providers may include:
Google Cloud Platform, for cloud hosting, compute, storage, networking, security, logging, monitoring, backup, and related infrastructure services;
Firebase, for authentication, app functionality, push notifications, crash reporting, analytics, performance monitoring, and related mobile or backend services, where enabled;
MongoDB Atlas, for managed database hosting, data storage, backup, monitoring, security, and related database services.
We do not permit these service providers to sell personal information or Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it for purposes unrelated to providing services to BizCrush.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain personal information, connected service data, Google Calendar event data, and meeting bot-related data only for as long as necessary to provide the requested functionality, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, prevent abuse, and enforce our agreements.
a. Google Calendar Data
If you disconnect Google Calendar access or delete your BizCrush account:
we will stop accessing your Google Calendar data;
we will disable Google Calendar-based meeting bot functionality unless you reconnect your account;
we will delete associated Google Calendar data from our active systems within 30 days unless a longer retention period is required by law, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or other legitimate business purposes.
You may also revoke BizCrush's access at any time through your Google Account settings.
b. Meeting Audio Files
Meeting audio files are stored temporarily in Google Cloud Platform's us-central1 region in the United States and are automatically deleted from active storage within 48 hours after the audio file is created, unless a longer retention period is required for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or service reliability.
Meeting audio files are temporary source files used to generate or support user-facing meeting features. They are not intended to be retained indefinitely.
c. Meeting Transcripts, Summaries, Notes, and User-Facing Meeting Records
Meeting transcripts, summaries, notes, action items, follow-up items, and related user-facing meeting records are retained for as long as necessary to provide the BizCrush service, including allowing the user to view, search, manage, and reuse their meeting records.
These records are generally retained until:
the user deletes them;
the user deletes the associated meeting record;
the user deletes their BizCrush account;
or retention is no longer necessary to provide the service,
unless a longer retention period is required by law, security, abuse prevention, dispute resolution, or service reliability.
When a user deletes meeting records, including transcripts, summaries, notes, action items, follow-up items, and related user-facing meeting data, BizCrush deletes those records from active systems. Deleted meeting records are not available for restoration by the user or by BizCrush.
d. Account Deletion
If a user deletes their BizCrush account, we delete or de-identify personal information and user-facing content associated with the account from active systems, including meeting records, transcripts, summaries, notes, action items, and follow-up items, unless retention is required by law, security, abuse prevention, dispute resolution, or service reliability.
Once deleted from active systems, user-facing meeting records are not available for restoration by the user or by BizCrush.
e. Backups, Logs, and Residual Copies
Residual copies may remain for a limited period in backups, logs, archival systems, or disaster recovery systems. These residual copies are deleted or overwritten according to our standard retention and backup practices, unless a longer retention period is required by law, security, abuse prevention, dispute resolution, or service reliability.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, connected account data, Google Calendar data, and meeting bot-related data.
These safeguards may include:
encryption in transit;
encryption at rest where supported by our infrastructure providers;
access controls;
authentication and authorization controls;
logging and monitoring;
backup and recovery mechanisms;
security review and debugging processes;
measures designed to reduce unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure.
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International Data Transfers
BizCrush and its service providers may process and store information in countries or regions other than where you are located. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction.
For example, meeting audio files are currently stored temporarily in Google Cloud Platform's us-central1 region in the United States for the limited purpose of providing meeting bot-related features.
When we transfer or process information internationally, we take measures designed to protect the information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.
10. Your Choices
You may:
choose whether to sign in with Google, Apple, phone number, or another available method;
choose not to connect Google Calendar;
choose whether to enable the meeting bot feature;
revoke connected account access at any time through your provider settings;
disconnect Google Calendar from BizCrush, where available;
delete meeting records, transcripts, summaries, notes, action items, and follow-up items, where available;
request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us;
adjust device-level permissions, such as notification permissions, through your device settings.
Some features may not function properly if you decline or revoke certain permissions.
11. Account Deletion and Access Requests
You may request deletion of your BizCrush account and associated personal information by contacting us at the email address listed below.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection regarding your personal information.
We may need to verify your identity before processing certain requests.
12. Children's Privacy
BizCrush is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete such information as required by applicable law.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date above and post the revised version on this page.
Your continued use of BizCrush after the updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means that you acknowledge the updated Privacy Policy, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
